How to easily reorder your layers with GstarCAD 2022
The LAYDRAWORDER command is used to arrange layers in a drawing in your preferred order.
How to access LAYDRAWORDER
When using 2D Drafting workspace, find Express > Modify > Layer Draworder, as shown in the following picture,

when using GstarCAD Classic workspace, find Express > Modify > Layer Draworder, as shown in the following picture,

Or entering “LAYDRAWORDER”, as shown in the following picture,

A closer look at the “Layer Draw Order” dialog box
After executing the command, the following dialog box will pop up, as shown in the following picture,

Layer List: The left-hand Layer List shows all layers in the drawing.
Users can select one or more layers from the list and add the selected layer(s) to the right-hand list called “Layers to Adjust Draw Order” by clicking the arrow point to the right.

Layers to Adjust Draw Order: The draw order of Layers in this list are to be adjusted.
Users can remove layers from this list by making a selection and pressing the arrow pointing to the left.

Filter: Too many layers in the drawing may make it hard to find the layers you need to adjust. But with this Filter tool, the layers in a drawing can be filtered by specifying a wildcard pattern in the “Filter” box and pressing “Enter”.

Name: If you know the precise name of the layer you need to adjust, just enter the name and press “Enter”.
Voila, that layer has been added to the “Layers to Adjust Draw Order” list and is ready for you to adjust.

Bring to Front: Bring selected layers above the other layers.
Send to Back: Bring selected layers below the other layers.
