Dynamic input provides a convenient method for users to input commands or system variables dynamically and display the index information.
Dynamic input does not work?
If you’ve found that the dynamic input does not function in your CAD, try press F12 to toggle Dynamic Input on, because you may have accidentally turned it off.
Or try set the system variable value of DYNMODE to 3 and value of DYNPROMPT to 1.
- The DYNMODE system variable is used to turn on or off the dynamic input mode.
- 0: turn off all dynamic input including dynamic prompts
- 1: pointer input on
- 2: dimensional input on
- 3: both pointer input and dimensional input on
- The DYNPROMPT system variable is used to control the display of prompts in dynamic input.
- 0:Off
1: On
The DYNMODE system variable turns dynamic input on and off. If specified DYNMODE to be 0, it does not display prompts no matter how to set the DYNPROMPT system variable.
How to enable or disable the dynamic input?
Do one of the following will toggle Dynamic Input on and off:
* Press the F12 key
* Toggle the dynamic input icon in the lower-right corner of your CAD program, shown as below:

* Change the system variable value of DYNMODE to 0 for OFF and other value for ON.
How to change the display settings for dynamic input?
Right-click on the dynamic input icon in the status bar and choose “Dynamic Input Settings”, shown as below,
