How to merge several layouts into one with GstarCAD 2023

The Layoutmerge command in GstarCAD 2023 merges specific layouts into a single layout.

How to access the LAYOUTMERGE command

* When using GstarCAD Classic workspace, find Express > Layout Tools > Merge Layout, shown as below,

* When using 2D Drafting workspace, find Express tab > Layout < Merge Layout, shown as below,

* Or just enter LAYOUTMERGE, shown as below,

After executing the command, the LAYOUTMERGE dialog box will pop up, allowing users to choose specific layout to be merged, shown as below,

After selecting the layouts to be merged, click OK, then you’re prompted to specify the destination layout, or enter a name for the new layout.

If you specify an existing layout as the destination layout and enter Y at the “Delete unused layouts” prompt, then the selected layouts will be merged into the new layout and layouts that are not used will be deleted altogether.

If you enter a name for the new layout and click OK, you’ll be asked whether to create a new layout. Clicking Yes and enter N at the “Delete unused layouts” prompt will combine the selected layouts into the new layout without deleting other layouts.
