In many industries, people would need to import CAD drawing to high-resolution image such as JPG、TIF、TGA、PDF、EPS, etc.

We have already known one way to this using EXPORT command to export the drawing as BMP image, but this kind of image has low resolution. Then how can we export CAD drawings to image with high-resolution?

Open the Plot dialog box

Enter Plot (Print), then the Plot dialog box would pop up, select “Add Plotter” under the Name list of Printer/Plotter, as shown in the following picture,

Then the Add Plotter dialog box would pop up, as shown in the following picture,

After installing the driver, the raster file formats will be shown in the list for us to select.

Please note:

We need to set the resolution of image properly, setting it too big will not give us a successfully exported image.
