Commonly used command: Recover

The Recover command is used to recover damaged graphic file and re-open it.

This command is very useful especially when error occur and you couldn’t open your drawing.

How to access the Recover command

 Find Application menu > Drawing Utilities > Recover, as shown in the following picture,

* When using GstarCAD Classic workspace, find File > Drawing Utilities > Recover, as shown in the following picture,

* Just enter “RECOVER”, as shown in the following picture,

Some drawings can be open but has error data, we can use RECOVER command to reopen it or use AUDIT command.

Please note: There various reasons for having error data in a drawing, we should reduce the times of conversion between different versions and save your drawings in the default version.
