Beginner tutorial: How to create symmetric graphics using Mirror command

Want to create symmetric graphics? Try Mirror command. A good command of Mirror command will help speed up the process of drawing.

Let’s take a circle and a line as an example. First draw a circle and a line, shown as below,

1. Find Modify from Home tab > Modify panel, shown as below,

2. Click Mirror and we would be prompted to select object. Click the circle to select it.

3. After selecting the circle, press Enter, then we’re prompted to specify the first point of mirror line and then the second.

4. After selecting the second point, the following message pops up asking whether you’d like to delete the source object or not,

If you choose to delete the original object, just press Enter key, and you’ll get two circles

Choose Yes will delete the source object and you get the following
