Beginner tutorial: All you need to know about CUTCLIP command

Cutclip command is used to copy selected objects to the Clipboard and remove them from the original drawings.

How to access the CUTCLIP

* When using 2D Drafting workspace, find Home > Clipboard > CUTCLIP, shown as below,

* When using GstarCAD Classic workspace, find Edit > Cut, shown as below,

* Use the shortcut for Cutclip “CTRL+X” before or after selecting an object.

* Enter “CUTCLIP”, shown as below,

The CTRL+V (or Pasteclip) often goes hand-in-hand with CTRL+X, users can cut selected objects to the Clipboard and then paste them into other applications such as a Word processor and vice versa.
