How ATTRIBUTE INCREMENT works?

The ATTRIBUTE INCREMENT command (keyboard shortcut: ATTINC) helps to specify block attributes with incremental value, or modify the value of block attributes according to the sort method.

This command auto-increment the block attribute value that contains a number or a letter. When ATTINC command is on and the drawing is not closed, the number or letter automatically updates when copying, inserting or deleting a block attribute in the drawing.

How to access the ATTRIBUTE INCREMENT?

There are two ways that users can get access to this command.

1. Enter ATTINC, as shown in the following picture, then press Enter key to execute this command.

2. Home > Block > Attribute Increment, as shown in the following picture,
