How to paint materials on specific area of a building without cutting the surface

Materials are one of the most crucial element of 3D designing, and they are used to achieve the best design of the model.

As a result, Houseplan’s ability to paint materials on surface of an area without cutting the surface is a great asset.

How to access

Find Material tab > Edit panel > Outside Wall Region, shown as below,

Then the Outside Wall Region dialog box would pop up, shown as below,

There are five options that users can use to paint materials:

Horizontal area

Vertical space

Horizontal surround

Graphic projection

Sticky area top
