How to modify a sloped roof in Houseplan

A sloped roof or a gable roof is an important feature in 3D building and home design and is widely used on commercial buildings or residential buildings.

Houseplan is designed to streamline your workflow, including modifying an existing entity.

After a sloped roof is created, you may want to modify the properties of a sloped roof such as slope angle and roof size, etc.

There are two ways to do modify a sloped roof in Houseplan:

* One is to select the sloping roof to be modified, then double-click on the sloped roof.

* Alternatively, you can click on the button (shown as below) beside the “Detailed parameter” in the Properties palette to modify slope gradient and eaves.

To modify Chute length, Chute gradient, chute ratio of a gable roof with two roof slabs, click on the button (shown as below) beside the “Turn Rooftop Into Arc” in the Properties palette, and enter your preferred value in the popped up dialog box, shown as below,
