On September 16, Gstarsoft and its Thai partner AppliCAD jointly hosted GstarSolutions Product Launch Thailand 2026 in Bangkok, officially launching GstarSolutions Thailand and GstarCAD 2027. The event showcased products spanning CAD, BIM, cloud collaboration, and AI CAD. It further strengthened the partnership between the two companies and highlighted Gstarsoft’s solid business foundation in Thailand.

GstarSolutions Thailand is a design solutions portfolio jointly introduced by Gstarsoft and AppliCAD for users in Thailand. It comprises five products: GstarCAD, GstarCAD Mechanical, GstarBIM, GstarCAD 365, and GstarRender. Together, they cover 2D design, mechanical design, building information modeling (BIM), cloud collaboration, and AI-powered visualization. The five products connect different stages of design, collaboration, and delivery, enabling users to select and combine the tools that best fit their workflows.

William Wang, Director of Overseas Sales at Gstarsoft, presented the company’s product portfolio and business development in Thailand. He noted that Thailand is an important overseas market where Gstarsoft has established a long-term presence. The company will continue to deepen its collaboration with AppliCAD and respond to local users’ needs through a more comprehensive product portfolio and localized services. Commenting on technology trends, Wang said, “AI is not just for demonstration. It is meant to solve real problems for designers and engineers.” Somsak Woraraksa, Executive Director of AppliCAD, also spoke about the long-standing and close partnership between the two companies. Through GstarSolutions Thailand, they are bringing CAD, BIM, cloud collaboration, and AI CAD products together within one coordinated product portfolio offering Thai users options that better align with their day-to-day design workflows.

As key components of the solutions portfolio, GstarCAD 2027 delivers continued improvements in performance, stability, and design efficiency. GstarCAD Mechanical provides specialized tools for mechanical design, while GstarCAD 365 supports drawing sharing, commenting, version history management and access management. GstarBIM supports building modeling and project data management, extending workflows from 2D drawings to 3D information. GstarRender brings AI into design visualization to support concept generation, iteration, and rendering.

The event also featured an application of GstarBIM in a large resort hotel project. The design team used the software to create a multi-level building model, define levels, elevations, and wall systems, and complete the interior design. Plans, sections, and elevations could also be generated directly from the model. By importing data in formats including IFC, RVT/RFA, SKP, and DWG, information from different disciplines could be consolidated into a unified model, supporting cross-team coordination and model-based documentation.

From 2D design to BIM, from desktop tools to cloud collaboration, and onward to AI CAD, Gstarsoft has established a product and solutions portfolio covering the broader design and engineering workflow. The successful event further strengthened the partnership between Gstarsoft and AppliCAD. The two companies will continue to combine Gstarsoft’s product and technology capabilities with AppliCAD’s local service experience to advance the adoption and implementation of relevant products in Thailand.
