Do you want to change the rate at which you zoom in or out? Maybe it’s too slow or too fast now?

To change the zoom speed when using the scroll wheel and therefore control how much zooming occurs each time we zoom in and out, we’ll need to change the value of the system variable ZOOMFACTOR.

Control the Zoom Rate

The default of the system variable ZOOMFACTOR is 60. The larger of the value, the greater of the change.

When you type ZOOMFACTOR and press Enter key, you’re prompted to enter new value, which needs to be an integer between 3 and 100.

My preference is to set it somewhere between 40 and 70, depending on the scale of my project and objects I’m working on.
