Cancel selection of all selected objects

* right-click menu

If we have selected some objects and haven’t executed any command, we can right-click the mouse and choose “Deselect All” in the right-click menu, as shown in the following picture,

This way, we will cancel the selection of all selected objects.

* ESC key

The ESC key can be used to cancel a command as well as the selection of objects.

If we have selected some objects and haven’t executed any command, we will cancel all the selection, as shown in the following picture,

* Enter U

If we have selected objects at the prompt of commands such as MOVE, ROTATE, etc, we can enter U, and then press Enter key to cancel the latest selection, if we continue, we will eventually cancel all selection, as shown in the following picture,

How to remove objects from a selection set : Shift key

Sometimes we only need to exclude some objects instead of all of them from a selection set, we can click on the object holding the Shift key down.
