What’s new in GstarCAD 2021: Point Cloud

GstarCAD 2021 supports two point cloud file extension (.rcp and rcs) as attachment in a drawing.

GstarCAD users can apply object color and RGB scan colors to display point cloud data.

How to access the Point Cloud?

  1. When using 2D Drafting workspace,

Insert > Point Cloud palette > Attach, as shown in the following picture,

2. When using GstarCAD Classic workspace,

Insert > Point Cloud Reference, as shown in the following picture,

3. Enter POINTCLOUDATTACH,

After executing the command, we are prompted to Select Point Cloud File,
