CAD provides many ways to insert blocks, one way is to use I (INSERT). Actually, we don’t have to open another drawing in order to insert the blocks from it.
- Directly insert blocks from other drawings
Open CTRL + 2 to open the Design Center and we can browse drawings in the folder list on the left, as shown in the following picture,
2. Add block to “Tool Palettes”, then insert the block to from the Tool Palettes, as shown in the following picture,
The Tool Palettes provides some samples in the library, but they may not be what we need, we can add mostly used blocks to the library.
