I can’t see what I’m drawing in CAD

Sometimes we can’t see what we’re drawing, there would be no preview.

The current layer has been turned off

This is a blue lightbulb, which means the current layer is turned off, that’s why we can’t see what we’re drawing.

It’s unlikely to turn off layers accidentally in GstarCAD, because when we turn off a layer, we would get prompts, as shown in the following picture,

Solution

If we turn on the layer, the objects we we were drawing reappear, we can keep them, delete them or move them,

Alternatively, we can set other layers that’s on as the current layer and then draw on it.

Just because a layer has been turned off doesn’t mean we can’t draw on them, we still can draw on them, we just can’t see what we are drawing.
