  •   Visualization and Display

GstarCAD Point Cloud offers various visualization modes that allow you to understand the geometry and focus on critical areas. You can adjust point density settings to match hardware performance, ensuring smooth processing even with large datasets.

  •   Clipping Box Tools

Clipping Box tools enables precise focus on sections of a point cloud. You can create clipping boxes by line or rectangle and set the thickness and orientation, enhancing control over data and making it easier to work with specific areas.

  •   Feature Extraction and Meshing

Feature Extraction tools enable quick detection and extraction of wall lines and planes from point cloud data, facilitating efficient CAD drawing creation. Meshing tools allow users to edit and modify meshes within your CAD drawings, making them ideal for representing terrains or structural details.

  •   Draping Tools

Draping tools enable polylines and objects to be accurately draped onto the point cloud, aligning them with real-world contours to ensure a precise fit for design applications.

  •   Image Generation

Ortho and profile image tools convert point clouds into high-resolution images. Adjustable resolution, rendering sources, and thickness settings help capture details from the point cloud.

  •   Undet Browser

Undet Browser view synchronizes with the GstarCAD environment, allowing users to view panoramic images and check sections in a real-time setting, which is especially useful for quality control and analysis.

Undet Floor Plan

Undet Floor Plan tab enhances the experience of working with floor plans by providing tools for vectorization, annotation, and efficient data handling.

  • Section View

Section View tab provides tools to create detailed sections directly from point cloud data, such as Auto Line tool, opening tool, along with wall, door, and window insertion tools, making it easy to extract and detail key architectural elements.

  • Floor View

Floor View tab enables efficient drafting and annotation of floor plans, including features for quick layer selection, floor level markings and quick block insertion, enhancing clarity and detail in drawings.

  • Ceiling View

Ceiling View tab also includes tools for annotating ceiling levels, quick layer selection and adding structural details to ceiling plans, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency.

  • Axis and View Control

GstarCAD offers UCS adjustment tools for precise alignment, along with view control options like view-switch shortcuts, multiple viewports, visual styles, and Point Cloud Orbit. These features enable smooth 3D navigation and accurate element placement within floor plans.

  • Draw and Modify

You can access GstarCAD’s standard drawing and editing tools for quick drafting, along with Layer management features that keep drawings organized and adaptable to design needs.

  • Express Tools

Undet Floor Plan offers additional tools, such as Measure Geometry, Get Distance, FitMarks, which further expands the drafting capability on point clouds, enhancing accuracy and streamlining workflows, allowing for more efficient manipulation of point cloud data directly within GstarCAD.

What’s New

Point Cloud Scale FactorDensity Settings Control Buttons
Adjust the unit scale of point cloud data (e.g., inches, mm, meters) to match your drawing units, ensuring accurate alignment and measurements.Quickly change point cloud density settings with new control buttons for Threshold to load full density and Max visible preview point count.

  • Logic Classes

Easily classify and manage point cloud data using Logic Classes, with tools to create, merge, group, and assign sections for better organization and visibility.
