How to select multiple objects in an irregular selection area

-Most of CAD users select objects by normal window select way.

-There are other ways to select objects when executing some commands.

-For example, if you only want to copy and select all the railings of this stair.

-Execute Copy command and then input F to activate the FENCE selection mode.

-Now you can define two points to select the first part of the stair’s railing.

-Once again, you can use fence to select the other railings.

-You can stretch part of this drawing in a non-regular selection.

-Execute Stretch command and input CP to active the CROSSING POLYGON selection mode.

-And shape the area you want to stretch in few clicks.

-You can get more versatile selection ways than the normal window selection.
